There continues to be a substantial inventory of lots in Horseshoe Bay
in the Highland Lakes area of Central Texas.  For lots listed at $10,000 and under, 2011 ended as follows in the table below.  Overall, there are still high inventory levels in Horseshoe Bay with few properties selling.   At the current absorbption rate, (one per month), there is a 6.3 year supply of lots listed in the under $10,000 category!  

As a Seller, what does that mean to you?  Price your lot as aggressively as you can.  Generally speaking, the more aggressively priced lots are selling, particularly those with compelling features such as a golf or lake view.

As a Buyer, there are some great deals out there if you are interested in buying a lot in Horseshoe Bay.  This is an area with wonderful amenities - Lake LBJ, 4 highly rated golf courses, quaint towns, hunting, fishing, boating, restaurants, barbeque, festivals and so much more here in the Central Texas  Hill  Country.
